Elite, originally published by Acornsoft for the BBC Micro computer and was released in 1984. Many see Elite as the forerunner to many modern games it was one of the first games that was 'open ended' - the aim of the game was to get a high reputation in the vast universes of the game rather than a high score This is one of the greatest games ever so come on vote!
